The following information needs to be provided to ADCAN in order for us to place your information on this page. A $25 job posting fee is required of all postings. Please note that job postings will only appear for 90 days. If you require additional time, you must submit an additional fee of $25. Postings are at the discretion of ADCAN and can be placed or deleted without cause or notice. Supporting Members of ADCAN and families in the DC Metro Area are permitted to submit a job posting. Tiny Treasures Nanny Agency

A loving family is seeking a wonderful nanny or a medical professional for their daughter's ages 8 and 11. Their 11yr has a controlled medical issue and learning disability. So someone patient would be wonderful. The nanny will be joining a household with two engaged parents and a terrific housekeeper. She will have a responsibility to provide for the general and basic needs of the girls while providing supervision to ensure their safety, growing independence, and self-responsibility. their Specific roles include developing and managing the daily schedule, providing guidance and help in daily tasks (getting dressed, personal hygiene, chores! managing school materials - homework, library), and modeling and reinforcing self-responsibility and care. Nanny will be the lead driver to school and after-school activities.


The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM 7:00 PM (as needed in the evening) Saturday (TBD)Compensation & Benefits

  • This position is $90K-$110K, and PTO and Paid federal holidays and a discretionary performance bonus.


Start Date: ASAP
Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Safety first always
  • Follows parents’ approach to childcare and embraces family parenting style
  • Provide safe transportation to and from school and other after school activities
  • Meal Preparations [e.g., preparing lunches, dinners, and snacks for the girls]
  • Assisting with homework assistance as needed
  • Helping with running errands, light housekeeping
  • Assist with the regular household organization.
  • Managing girls’ clothes and materials including specialty gear and equipment
  • Scheduling service visits (setting up doctor's appointments, coordinating reading activities,)
  • Help with special events such as birthday parties and playdates
  • Lastly, coming up with fun activities, encouraging responsibility among the girls


Qualification
US  Work Authorization

At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience

Valid driver’s license and passport

Comfortable cooking for children

CPR and First-Aid certifications

Must be able to swim

Desire to commit long-term

Engaging and active with a true passion for caring for children

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws

 If you're looking for a child care job with flexible hours, The Nanny Network has a great opportunity for you! If you apply to work with our agency, we can find work for you and save you the time of searching for a job on your own. Our agency works with families in the Washington, D.C., metro area who are in need of in-home backup child care for infants to school-age children. You can work when you're available (and earn some extra money)! We're looking for qualified caregivers who are available at least one full working day per week and can fill last-minute requests for child care. The jobs last for a minimum of four hours, and they are normally during the daytime on weekdays. The pay rate is $15-$16 per hour before taxes. 

Our basic criteria for backup child care providers are that they have two years of recent professional child care experience and three professional references (not including family members or friends) that we can verify. All caregivers must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States. The members of our child care team need to have a true love for caring for kids, an enthusiastic attitude, and great communication and organizational skills. Non-drivers are welcome to apply, though not all families homes' are accessible via public transportation.
